Lord Gardiner of Kimble has recognised the contribution made by the RASC to Commonwealth agricultural affairs during a speech to the House of Lords.

RASC serves a network of 51 Agricultural Show Societies and Agriculture focused orginisations in a variety of fields. Exchanging information between Societies is one of its functions. RASC News is one channel, providing society news, information and opinion between widely varying Societies scattered across the Commonwealth from tropics to tundra.

Northern Cape.
Small holders in a remote area keeping geese for down production to make duvets. They are also involved in extracting essential oils from native heath plants. Sharp learning curve! Both projects providing much needed income. Overseen by Elgin Community College.
Malawi.
A small team organising the local communities to grow vegetables for the aged and infirm, harvesting and storing maize against food shortage, bringing water supplies nearer the communities Hopefully linking into a Commonwealth Secretariat project, involving two Malawian post graduates returning from UK.
